API 570 Piping Inspector (Exam Preparation) Online Live Zoom Course

What Will You Learn?

Our comprehensive API 570 training program covers a wide range of topics related to pressure piping and inspection. Throughout the course, you will gain detailed knowledge and understanding of:

  1. API 570 'Body of Knowledge': Detailed explanations of all the information covered in the API 570, including ASME welding requirements for pressure piping (Section IX and B31.3 VIII).

  2. ASME Non-Destructive Testing Principles: Learn the principles and application of Section V for non-destructive testing in the inspection of pressure piping.

  3. Pressure Piping Design Review: Gain insights into the design review process according to ASME B31.3. Topics covered include weld sizes, pipe branch reinforcement, brittle fracture, weld efficiency factors, and post-weld heat treatment. We will also discuss pressure piping inspection practices.

  4. API 570 Inspection, Repair, and Re-rating: Understand the inspection, repair, and re-rating procedures for pressure piping according to API 570 standards. Explore inspection intervals, inspection requirements, and their relationships to ASME codes.

  5. Corrosion and Remaining Life Calculations: Explore corrosion mechanisms, minimum thickness determination, remaining life calculations, and techniques for assessing the integrity of pressure piping.

Inspection and Degradation Mechanisms: Throughout the course, we will discuss various inspection and degradation mechanisms related to pressure piping. Topics covered include piping corrosion and cracking mechanisms, erosion, common corrodents, hydrogen and H2S damage, and alloy degradation.
